I had the opportunity to learn in an online platform rather than attending the physical lectures. So, it was very flexible because I was able to manage my university studies along with CA. I sat for business level 2 June exam which was online base and I achieved a subject price for BL 7 – Business Taxation with 84 marks.

it comes to studying a subject like CL4 corporate law which is full of legal content, what really helped me was following the teaching style of Chalana sir. He explains things in a such a logical and practical way, taking examples from the real world, breaking everything down step by step. His way of teaching made legal areas so much easier to understand and enjoy the learning process with interest. With his method, these legal areas naturally stuck in my mind. Yes, corporate law does involve a lot of memory based areas. But instead of trying to memorize them all, what I tried was to understand the concept behind them. Most difficult and most challenging learning area under the financial reporting and governance subject for me is SLFS9 financial instrument. But in our classroom as the Chamasth sir's guidance, he always explained the most difficult theory areas first. Thereafter he explained and he performed the calculation based on that theory area. I was able to get the subject price for SL3 under that batch. So in the examination corporate taxation part is a little bit difficult part but Rukshan sir teach us how we can do the corporate taxation subject in more easy way. He told he teach us every adjustment step by step in a smooth manner and also he told us he teach us how we can approach to the correction what are the first things that we need to do. So all the things he teach us in a logical flow so that's how I tackle my corporate taxation part in the examination as per the rukansa's guidance. So in the examination international taxation is also a little bit difficult part. So my strategy was here actually I did several past papers.

I continuously practicing the international taxation pass questions within the past papers. So because of that I use to do the calculations and the theories very well in the examination in relation to the international taxation.

One thing that really helped me was the way how Hashan sir explained these concepts. He breaks down even the complex areas into smaller parts. His method helped me to understand these concepts easily and I was able to apply them in the examination however the question was framed. Moreover, sir used simple and relatable examples which made it much more easier for me to understand these complex topics. Once we understand how and why something works, it becomes much more easier for us to apply that knowledge in exam. Something that I have learned from this experience is that just because a topic or a subject is complex, it doesn't mean that it has to be difficult. If it is understood logically and if it is understood practically, it will become more manageable and even enjoyable.

In my opinion, trying to face a subject like advanced management accounting without attempting past papers or practicing questions is not a feasible solution. Personally, I went through more than 10 to 12 pass papers, pilot papers and mock papers given by Hashan sir.
